Abstract

Tourism in Kosovo is a growing sector with many tourists visiting the country every year. By tourism we mean the movement of people for the purpose of recreation, entertainment, healing and expanding cultural knowledge. Although Kosovo is a small geographical area, with its natural and human motifs, it offers good opportunities for the development of several types of domestic, regional, international, stationary and transit tourism. Kosovo has tourist sites that can be used by its population for excursions, sports, recreation, rest, culture, education and upbringing.

Tourism is a social, cultural and economic phenomenon that involves the movement of people to places or places outside their usual environment for personal or business/professional purposes. Rural tourism is a form of tourism that takes place in rural or non-urban areas, highlighting the natural, cultural assets and heritage of those regions. Rural tourism is one of the high potential sectors for the rural economic sector and for the overall cultural culture. This paper addresses the role of rural tourism management as a key instrument in stimulating local economic growth, language pronunciation and promoting cultural identity. Through management practices and sustainability analysis strategies, the study of methods such as plans, organization of effectiveness control in relation to protecting the competitiveness of rural destinations. The paper is based on contemporary literature on sustainable and local tourism, as well as on empirical analyses of rural areas with tourism potential.
